We would like you to get to know our dental team a little bit. The Carpenter Dental staff has provided some information on themselves below.
Dr. Chad Carpenter
Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending time with family, riding and racing bicycles, being involved with the community and attending continuing education courses related to dentistry. He has a special interest in dental implants, CAD/CAM dentistry and dentistry on the homeless.
Dr. Carpenter received his dental degree from The College of Dentistry at The University of Nebraska Medical College. He has furthered his training at numerous other locations, most notably The Misch International Implant Institute, The Dawson Center and Dr. Frank Spear Learning Center.
Philanthropy & Community Involvement
Dr. Carpenter is a board member and vice president of the Cornerstone Rescue Mission Homeless Shelter. With staff members Lisa, Bailey & Chellsee, Dr. Carpenter volunteers at the Community Health center providing dental care for the homeless. Dr. Carpenter is a participant in the Donated Dental Services (DDS) program, which provides comprehensive care to those in poverty and volunteers on the Care Mobile Dental Bus, which serves low income children.
Dr. Carpenter is a supporter of Young Life, Allied Arts Fund, Love INC, Habitat for Humanity, Zonta, Cornerstone Rescue Mission, Youth & Family Services, and United Way. In addition, he is a booster of numerous school athletic programs, as well as Post 22 and Post 320 Baseball.
Dr. Carpenter is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentists, the South Dakota Dental Association, and is a past president (non elected) of the Black Hills Dental District Society. Dr. Carpenter is a member of the Black Hills Spear Study Club.
